The Chelsea striker Nicklas Anelka is already surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after Andre Villas-Boas announced hat he would be changing the formation to 4-3-3.
Anelka had been angling for a one-year extension at Chelsea, but it seems that AVB can’t wait to sell him and a couple of others to make room for Luka Modric and Radamel Falcao, and it seems that the 32 year-old has now got an offer from his old club PSG.
The newly-rich Ligue 1 team believe that Anelka could refind his scoring boots back in the French League and in his favourite position of centre-forward.
The new Qatari owners have made PSG into one of the few teams that would be willing to match Anelka’s £90,000 a week wages so Chelsea may even let the Frenchman go cheap just to remove gim from the wage bill, or just accept that he will be sitting out the rest of his contract on the bench.
