The new Chelsea midfielder Ramires hasn’t settled into Chelsea’s style of play yet, and his glaring mistake which allowed Carlos Tevez his scoring chance last week has not destroyed his confidence.
He was left on the bench by Carlo Ancelotti in midweek against Marseille, but he understands that he can’t just walk into such a great team as Chelsea and is willing to be patient.
Ramires said: “I accept being a substitute in the Champions League against Marseilles. It is normal because I am the last one that has arrived and besides I know that the coach does many rotations throughout the season.
“I know that I have received some criticism for losing the ball that resulted in Carlos Tevez scoring the goal for Manchester City but that does not worry me.
“I know that my manager Carlo Ancelotti and my team-mates have confidence in me.”
He is obviously a top class player, but it always takes time when a new player moves to London. I’m sure we will see him do some brilliant moves as the season progresses.
Ramires never give up in football it happens, you dont finger point you lost as a team. You are a fantastic player keep the spirit high.
