Real Madrid offer £15 million for Chelsea star defender

One of Spain’s football giants is reportedly ready to make a £15 million offer to Chelsea in order to persuade the Blues into selling one of their key players, Branislav Ivanovich.

Many fans consider this price-tag a bad joke or even better an insult, believing that the defender’s value is somewhere near £25 million, also they regard the Serbian international as a loyal Blue who will sooner hang up his soccer gear before going to ‘The Special One’.

The 28-year-old defender plaid a splendid part in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, Chelsea’s boss considering Ivanovic an indispensable player to the team.

Mourinho sees Branislav Ivanovic as a strong acquisition and has plans for the 28-year-old to play right back for his star-studded side if he manages to convince Chelsea’s defender that he has more to gain from an alliance with Real Madrid.

We all know that Chelsea will not let go of one of their star players so easily, despite the fact that £15 million could represent a decent profit considering that the 28-year-old was bought in 2008 for no more than £9.7 million, but
I believe that the Serbian international still sees Chelsea as the perfect place to be right now and is determined to show Mourinho that his services are worth a whole lot more.
