Ribery confirms Chelsea interest

Franck Ribery has confirmed that Chelsea are interested in signing him, he in fact mentioned three teams interested in him, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea.

He also stated that his future will be decided in the next two-three weeks.

Speaking to French television show Telefoot Ribery said

“When will I decide my future? In two or three weeks,”

“I am not 100 per cent sure I am going to go to Real Madrid.

“Barca is also attracted, and there is Chelsea. But that doesn’t necessarily mean I will leave Bayern.”

Man City and Man Utd were not mentioned and the fact that he says he is not 100% sure he is joining Real Madrid means that he is certainly still interested in joining us.

Ribery’s contract expires at the end of next season and therefore a decision has to be made very soon, Bayern are not prepared to lose another player on a free transfer.
