Roman Abramovich SANCTIONS Move For £60m World Cup Q/finalist – Not Paul Pogba

Chelsea goal celebrationChelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to veto a move for Real Madrid and Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez, who is valued at £60m ahead of the transfer window next month.

The former FC Porto and AS Monaco star is the most glamorous name on the list of players new manager Guus Hiddink has submitted to Abramovich in a bid to drag Premier League champions Chelsea back into European contention.

Star of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, James Rodriguez, has been on song for Real Madrid this season but is reportedly considering a move away from the Santiago Bernebeu due to his dodgy relationship with manager Rafael Benitez.

The signing of Rodriguez will undoubtedly ease the burden on Chelsea’s creative midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard, they have both been struggling for form with the team languishing in 15th spot on the log.
