Roman going all-out for Falcao with £200k/week offer
Roman Abramovich will seemingly stop at nothing in pursuit of Radamel Falcao, with the Colombian set to earn £10Million a year if he we’re to agree a move.
Chelsea have been linked with Falcao since Andre Villas-Boas was hired 17 months ago, but Chelsea’s interest in the player became much more serious when the Athletico Madrid striker netted a hat-trick against us in the European Super Cup.
Radamel Falcao has a minimum fee release clause of £48Million and Real Madrid and Chelsea are set to trigger it.
Chelsea are set to make Falcao their highest earner in Blues history, with an offer of £200k a week. The current highest earner is Fernando Torres, who is thought to be on just under £180k.
Fernando Torres has recently found his goalscoring boots again, having mislaid them for almost two months. Torres has 5 goals in his last 3 games and is starting to play with confidence again.
Daniel Sturridge is expected to leave Chelsea next month, with Brendan Rodgers hoping he will join him at Liverpool.
If Chelsea complete Falcao’s signing, I believe we will have the edge on our rivals. I believe with the Colombian on side we will be able to get back into the title race, and should dominate the Premier League for years to come.
Falcao is very much needed in Chelsea….Both Man City and Utd have brilliant forward strength with 2-3 very recognized and deadly strikers. Its good for us that Fernando is retaining his past form back…but if Chelsea seriously wants to challenge the top two ( Man U is currently 10 points upper Chelsea), they must sign Falcao which will be boon for Future of Chelsea as well…Or We will be with just one forward after the transfer of Sturridge in January
Hope this is true! Roman never lets us down and always tries his hardest to get the best players for CFC. Contrast that with other owners and we Chelsea fans are lucky. Torres and Falcao would be an awesome striker force……
