This is season because Didier Drogba has announced he has suffered an ankle injury. This injury will reportedly knock out the Chelsea legend from the clash against Arsenal on Sunday. Chelsea are already without Loic Remy and Diego Costa.

Drogba confirmed the injury via twitter when he tweeted;

“Disappointed not to be able to play the MAP2015 because of an ankle injury but still supporting #EbolaResponse.”

If you believe Metro, Chelsea may be close to completing the first signing of the summer. According to the paper, Chelsea are edging close to signing £20 million rated West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell after reports emerged West ham are open to selling the player if an offer which they consider good enough is put in for his services. According to the report, West Ham are already tracking Tyrone Mings as a potential replacement. Mings who is an Arsenal target can play not only the left back role which will be vacated by Cresswell but as well as a centre back and is likely to be available for just £10 million.
