Round up – Chelsea Director Flies To Spain To Complete £45m Deal, Deal Agreed For Brazilian And More

Good morning peeps, in this article, we will do a news round up of all the news and rumours from yesterday.

Yesterday according reports by Gazzetta Dello Sport of Italy, Chelsea director Michael Emenalo has flown to Spain in an attempt to to hash out a deal said to be between £35-45 million with Atletico Madrid for the signature of Spanish youngster Koke. The paper claims although Atletico may find it difficult to let the midfielder to leave, Chelsea hope a big money offer will convince both the player and the club to do business.

Also yesterday, Gazzetta Dello Sport, Chelsea and Juventus have both agreed a deal that will see Chelsea’s Ramires move to Turin in a deal believed to be as much as £35 million. The paper claims the deal could be announced as early as July. The paper was however silent on whether the reported deal will have any impact on the supposed Paul Pogba to Chelsea link.

Also yesterday, daily mail reported that Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with the agents of on loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford. According to the British media house, Chelsea hope a new contract offer that will see the player earn 10 times more than he currently earns will convince him to put pen to paper on a new contract. The player who has scored 17 goals this season for promotion chases Middesbrough only just days ago got named the Skybet championship player of the year. He reportedly have just over a year left on his current contract with Chelsea.

In other non transfer news, former Chelsea star, Ferreira has revealed he will likely be re-joining Chelsea soon. This time not as a player but as member of Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff. The player was quoted to have said;

“I’ve just finished by B license. There are two more years to finish the job and become a coach. I hope I will be able to join the coaching staff of Mourinho at Chelsea. It would be a huge experience for me.”
