Monaco are said to have reached an arrangement with Chelsea for their midfield star Mikel Obi. The Nigerian defensive midfielder who was the center of a controversial transfer saga between Chelsea, Man United and Lyn Oslo having spent 9 seasons at Stamford Bridge, he has been synonymous with the team. However recently, Mikel Obi has found himself on the fringes of the first team and has been displaced by the arrival of Nemanja Matic in 2014.
Reports earlier this week though had it that Real Madrid were interested in signing Mikel Obi, and certainly there would have been interest on his part if Madrid had come calling. However, this new report favors him moving to Monaco, as a replacement for Geoffrey Kondogbia. He is expected to cost Monaco £15 million.
Should Mikel Obi move to Monaco, he would be providing his wealth of experience to the club, after all he has won the premier league, the Champions league, the Europa league, the Fa cup all with Chelsea. Say what you want to about him, there is no denying that he has had an illustrious career at Chelsea laden with trophy. Wherever he finds himself by the end of this summer, we hope Mikel will be afforded the first team starts he wants.

Mikel obi is a good player on a good day, my problem with him he did not know or believe he is good that is why he is till with Chelsea. Man move on, there are better days for you.
He can move on himself or Chelsea will eventually help him move on when they sell him. Either one will happen. He was a great attacking midfielder who doesn’t even do what he does best any more. which is giving good passes from midfield. Now, I can’t even remember the last time he scored a goal and he’s still there at Chelsea.
Well that sums it up
