Sturridge wants Torres place as centre-forward at Chelsea

The Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge made his England debut this week against Sweden, but he was not happy at playing out on the wing just as he does for Chelsea.

Sturridge is well known as an out and out striker and despite scoring lots of goals for the Blues from the wing, he ultimately wants his rightful place as the spearhead of the Chelsea attack.

Daniel said after his England debut: “I was playing on the wing and it’s difficult, but it was great to get my debut, so I’m happy,”

“I just want to continue playing for Chelsea and from there I want to start playing as a striker, and then from there try and play for England as a striker.

“That’s my aim – to be a number nine for England. I want to stake my claim as a striker, that’s the position I want to play.

“Hopefully, the England manager will see me as a striker and give me an opportunity there, because that’s where I believe I am best.”

Who thinks Sturridge would do a better job than Torres at centre-forward? I do…

For me, torres still the best centre-forward at Chelsea… give him the chance to prove that he still the best striker in EPL.

I said it that is england collobration to fustrate torres, studrige that is why u refuse to give torres pass to score toe clean gaol against arsnal so that you can take the glory,I tink the england players in that chelsea team are the one fustrating torres,he does not get pass from them, avb you have to do something unless there selfish intresent will cost you your job,a word is enough for a wise.
