As the transfer window draws nearer and nearer to opening, Czech International Petr Cech looks set to facilitate a move away from Stamford Bridge. The 32 year old goalkeeper has been given permission to speak with other clubs as stated by his agent. Having lost his starting position to a young Thibaut Courtois, the Czech International is said to be looking for a way out of Chelsea; a club where he spent 11 years with a total of 332 appearances winning a lot of trophies most notably the UEFA Champions League and Premier League.
He also won the golden glove 3 times in the 2004-05, 2009-10 and 2013-14 seasons respectively as the premier league goalkeeper with the most clean sheets. Manchester United , Paris St Germain and Arsenal seem to be in the front race to sign the 32 year old goalkeeper. Manchester United will be pole favorites to sign Petr Cech as their first choice goalie David De Gea seems set to join Spanish Giants Real Madrid and with Mourinho and Arsene Wenger not in good terms, United will feel they have a good chance.
With De Gea gone, Petr Cech will enter the team as a certified starter over Victor Valdes and will finally have a chance to play regularly unlike Chelsea where he was being denied a starting shirt. However, at this point it is unlikely to point where Petr Cech might end up, but if the reports are anything to go by, the 32 year old wants to play for a top club and feels he can compete at the highest level possible. Any club that eventually snaps up Petr Cech will be extremely lucky as they would be getting one of the best goalkeepers of our generation.
