- Edison cavani
While everyone focuses on Zlatan Ibrahimović at Paris Saint-Germain, Edison cavani is still one of the big stars in the Parcs De Princes. The Uruguayan international has been prolific in whatever position he has played in for the Qatar owned club, if we are to check statistics we would have to go back to 2010 to see when he failed to reach 20 goals in a season that was when he was at Palermo.
Cavani managed 31 goals in all competitions for Psg last season despite been deployed out wide one the left side of attack most times to accommodate Ibrahimović. He has scored 13 goals already this season is showing no signs of slowing down. He will be a perfect candidate for an out of form team and provide strong competition for the out of sorts Diego Costa.
- Antoine Griezmann
Griezmann has been exceptional for Diego simeone’s Atletico Madrid. His 22 goals put him third on the top goal scorers chats behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi last season.
He looks set to beat his best tally of 22 goals last season having already put 12 in all competitions at this stage of the season, Griezmann has made 300 appearances at just 24 years of age this is an added advantage for the blues as he would provide an experienced mindset in the Chelsea’s dressing room. He is versatile as he can play out wide on either side of attack or as a striker.
Though his club chief Enrique cerezo has insisted he (Griezmann) will not be joining the blues in January, it would be difficult to ignore the lure to the English premier league.
- Mauro Icardi
Mauro Icardi has been the main man for Inter Milan this season. Icardi a youth product of Barcelona is a young
And promising striker he will do Chelsea a lot of good in the long term. The n argentine international was joint top scorer of serie A last season with Luca Toni and has been listed as one of the best young talents in Europe. His style of play would make him easily blend into the premier league.
He can take on defenders with his pace and his physical strength would make him keep pocession of the ball under pressure.
