Torres and Hazard put Chelsea top
It has been a storming start to the season for the Blues, and two of the players at the heart of it all are Fernando Torres and new signing Eden Hazard. Hazard has begun his Premier league career like a rocket, becoming the first player ever to win the man of the match award in all of their first three games.
The young Belgian wizard has been showing great speed, skill and strength. In the absence of Chelsea’s usual penalty taker, Frank Lampard, Hazard took responsibility and coolly slotted in to the corner.His goal helped to give Chelsea the perfect start of three wins out of three.
The continued good form of Spanish striker Torres is also fantastic news for Chelsea. After being brought down for Hazard to score the penalty, Torres found a fantastic finish to ensure the win against Newcastle on Saturday. The Spaniard is clearly enjoying himself and is pleased with his new look team as well.

“It is a privilege to have a player like him, or Juan, Oscar or Lamps behind you.”
The rest of the Premier league are starting to realise that Chelsea mean business this season and will be hard to stop. We could have more silverware in the cabinet after the Uefa Super Cup against Athletico Madrid on Friday, and winning becomes a habit.
