Torres Criticised By Spanish Boss Now

Fernando Torres is no stranger to criticism especially since his move to Chelsea earlier in the year, but the Spanish striker is now facing a tricky time as he has even been dropped by his country.

It is no secret that Torres has struggled for form since his arrival from Liverpool, form that has seen him score just one goal. Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has stood by his striker playing him in all three league games this season, but his Spanish manager has criticised Torres and dropped him from the side that beat Liechtenstein 6-0 on Tuesday evening.

Vicente del Bosque said, “He is an important player, but the people selected for the national team are those who do well for their clubs, not the other way round.”

Come on Fernando prove him wrong. Personally I believe Torres is just one goal away from finding his scoring boots, a goal that will see him go on a scoring spree. With the Champions League qualifiers starting next week lets hope that spree comes sooner rather than later.

Torres is a good player and i know that but he should be given time to player with a good play maker not lampard, chelsea needs team work, most of the player in d pitch are very selfish, then tell me hw will u expect €50m to shine, remember when Mouriho time they where togetherness among the player, d big fish in d team hw our problem. If AVB needs to succeed then find ur own team

Torres is washed up…. sit him already and tell him you think he is as well. Then he will be forced to prove that he isn’t.

Torres needs to play some FIFA 11. The Torres in my team there is on a crazy scoring form. In hard mode he wizzies past defenders of City and Liverpool like they’re not there! Playing that could help his confidence 😉
