Villas-Boas – It's a massive win for Chelsea, but we mustn't get too excited!

Chelsea came out of their slump in decisive fashion yesterday by beating their top four rival Newcastle at St. James Park to move back into the Champions League places. The manager Andre Villas-Boas must have felt like he had got a Royal Flush at one of the sites recommended by texasholdemonline.com but he insisted that it was too early to get excited after just one result, especially with two more crucial games coming up in the next seven days.

“It is a win that nobody was expecting, so it is a big, massive win,” the Chelsea boss said. “We have a massive game approaching us and we have to not get too excited with what we have done here today.

“We have to go past Valencia to stay in the Champions League. If we do exactly that, we will have enough emotional stimulus to take on Manchester City and try to win.”

If Chelsea can beat Roberto Mancini’s team at Stamford Bridge next weekend it will blow the title race wide open again and give Chelsea the confidence to have a fantastic second half of the season. Come on you Blues!
