Welcome To Stamford Bridge – 23 Goals In 21 Matches ATTACKER To Join Chelsea, To Reduce Costa To A Benchwarmer
Although Chelsea have a had a very torrid season so far and find themselves struggling in the relegation zone on the English Premier League table, the Blues technical director Michael Emenalo may have found the key to unlocking their luck this season and maybe pushing them back up on the table as he is reportedly monitoring Alex Teixeira ahead of a potential January transfer window switch for the Brazilian Ace.
According to reports from the Telegraph, Jose Mourinho might definitely support this move as he too desperately needs some new forwards at the Stamford Bridge to help him make the turnaround the club needs at the moment and maybe save his job too.
The Blues have only score 17 goals this season out of 15 English Premier League matches so far and this is very low and shows that the Blues attack is nothing to write home about at the moment.
The 25-year-old Teixeira will however definitely change this when he arrives as he is a fantastic forward who knows how to score goals and is in a very good form at the moment.
This will definitely be a good addition to the squad as all Chelsea strikers have lost their bite at the moment and even the attacking midfielders cannot seem to do anything to save themselves at the moment.
The team is in desperate need of a good forward and maybe a few midfielders and it looks like Teixeira might be the first one to arrive in January. It remains to be seen.
