West Ham v Chelsea highlights – Chelsea cruise to four in a row

arlo Ancelotti saw his team maintain their 100% start to the season with a facile 3-1 win over bottom-of-the-table West Ham Utd, but he won’t be pleased that they conceded their first goal of the year!

But he is extremely pleased that Michael Essien has returned to the team after missing most of last season, and he scored two goals today to keep Chelsea at the top of the table.

“I think he’s better than a new signing,” said Ancelotti.

“We missed him last season because he’s one of the top midfielders in the world. He came back and we’re happy he can maintain this level of play.

“He’s fit now. We have to pay attention because he’s playing well, all the games at the start of the season. He scored here, and that’s fantastic. He’s a fantastic jumper and I hope he maintains this position for as long as possible.”

And we hope Chelsea maintain their position as well!!
