Will £40Million Tempt Spurs To Sell Modric?
We are all aware that the transfer market can be a very volatile place, none more so than when it comes to Luka Modric and a proposed move to Chelsea. There have already been numerous offers of cash, and cash plus players, but the latest offer may just be the one that is to good to turn down.
Roman Abramovich is not a man that likes to be messed around, and he has been snubbed in his attempts to sign Javier Pastore who looks certain to be joining Paris Saint Germain, so he is now going all out to sign Modric in a £40Million deal.
Last week we brought you the news that Chelsea would be offering around £35Million for Modric, but Harry Redknapp was quoted as saying, “He is worth an awful lot more money than that.”
This latest offer of £40Million could just be enough to tempt Spurs to sell Modric to Chelsea, and Abramovich for one will not be a happy man if he loses out on another big name signing like he has done with Pastore. The transfer market is like a soap opera, and the Modric saga has had more episodes than Coronation Street it seems.

I believe modric worth just around £30 to £35. Hes a good creative miffielder that chelsea need. £40 is too much. Our scout should look for better miffielder.
It is not to say that our owner fears a defeat in transfer but a fact will is dat we need Modric. It is not a battle of witts.

40m for modric to me is over d hill,there r many gud play makers in d market dt wl cost less than dt,wot about douglas costa,gotze,marko marin who wl cost less than dt but give great returns,ds is d tym 4 chelsea’s scout 2 justify d huge money being paid 2 dem.
Leave that modric and in for the dutch playmaker.i think it ‘ll be ok for chelsea to get him(wesley).
