Will Mikel, Malouda And The Others Leave In January?

Since Andres Villas-Boas came to Chelsea life got complicated for most of the older players at the club, as the Portuguese started sidelining players of top class who were used to be weekly first teamers and only miss a game due to injury.

That’s the case of John Obi Mikel who even though was still in the shadow of Michael Essien was used with frequent action and now has to deal with the situation or get frustrated or go.

Others like Malouda, Lampard, Torres or Kalou are in the same pot, but they can only opt to leave the club if this won’t change.

“It has been hard, but the most important thing is that the team keep doing well,” Mikel said.

“As much as I want to play, the team come first.

“If the team keep winning, then I shouldn’t complain. Any time I am called upon, I just want to help the team win.”

Mikel lost the first team since Oriol Romeu started playing, and once Essien will be fit again he’ll be a certain second team player, so people are starting to ask whether he’ll continue to play at Chelsea or opt for a way out in January. What do you think?
