Chelsea transfer target, Alex Teixeira has confirmd Chelsea’s interest. The 25-year old Shaktar Donetsk attacker has been in scintillating form this season. His form have sparked interests from a host of top clubs with Chelsea a little bit more particular about the Brazilian. Teixeira agreed that Chelsea have made enquiries, but nothing has been decided yet.
The Blues have lacked precision in attack so far this term. They have only scored 18 league goals this term and only 5 of those have come from their strikers. Chelsea have endured a terrible form this term, they are currently 15th in the league, a rather unusual position for the London side.
Chelsea are urgently in need of attackers as their attack have woefully failed so far. Diego Costa who was in a blistering form last season, scoring 20 goals, have only managed 3 so far. His partners in crime, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy have only shared 2 league goals between themselves.
According to the reports, Teixeira was asked about a possible move to Stamford Bridge, the 25-year old said, “I know there have been some talks , but at the moment, nothing is concrete. Now I just want to go on vacation in Brazil, then I will see what the future hold.”
The impressive attacker joined Shaktar from Vasco Da Gama in 2010 and has been overly impeccable. The Shaktar man has netted 22goals in just 15matches and follows up the amazing record with 5 assists all just In the league alone. The player has been handed a more advance role this term owing to the departure of Luiz Adriano to AC Milan.
