“Yes, We Held Talks” 26 Goals In 25 Games Star Confirms Chelsea Move Likely – The End Of Diego Costa
Shakhtar Donetsk Star Alex Teixeira has revealed transfer talks ahead of the January Transfer Window.
Texieria is heavily linked with a January move to Chelsea and a couple of European heavy weights are also keen on his signature. The Shakhtar Donetsk star has been in emphatic form this season and has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season.
The former Brazil U-20 international revealed: “I know that there is interest on their part. There have been talks but nothing concrete at this point. For the moment what interests me is going on holiday to Brazil, and we will see what the future holds for us.”
He has previously already confirmed that Juventus, PSG and Chelsea are in talks with the Ukrainian club regarding his transfer. He said last month: “From what I have seen and what my manager said, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have made proposals. But Chelsea and Juventus are deeper in negotiations. They are all big clubs. Wherever I go, I’ll be happy. I have spoken to many people who play in the Premier League because I think it’s the best league in the world. It’s the most competitive and I want this challenge in my career.”
Chelsea are also reportedly looking to offload Radamel Falcao following his unimpressive performances this season, he been deemed surplus to requirements and he will have to make way for fresh legs in January.
Turkish publication Takvim reports that Fenerbahce are interested in his services. According to the report, Turkish Super Lig side are planning to pair the former Atletico Madrid striker with Robin Van Persie as their forward options. Falcao last played for the Blues in the league defeat against Liverpool on October 21. His only goal this season came in the defeat against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
