The news that the Stoke manager Tony Pulis only thinks that Daniel Sturridge is worth £6million is surely a joke of the most disrespectful proportions! Yes Sturridge is not highly experienced in the Premier League, but the fact that he scored an amazing 8 goals in just 11 games for Bolton speaks volumes about how much he could be worth in a couple of years.
It is obviously up to the new manager, but if I was Villas-Boas I would seriously consider playing him alongside Fernando Torres for a few games next season. If Falcao arrives and Drogba stays it will be difficult for the youngster to get a game, but it would be downright farcical if Chelsea sold him without giving him the chance to show what he can do with the supply from the Chelsea midfielders.
If Sturridge can walk the walk at Bolton, then he would surely score twice as many playing for Chelsea. Although Stoke are rumoured to have bid £6m, it is also said that Chelsea have put a price of £20m on his head, but I still think he should NOT be allowed to leave at any price.
Bolton obviously want him back out on loan next season, and I think that is easily the best option for Chelsea. If he continues to score like he did last year then either Torres or Falcao (whoever is the most disappointing next season) should make way for Sturridge as a first choice striker at Stamford Bridge the following season.
£6m is too ridiculous 4 Dan.
Tony must be mad in pricein daniel wit such inferio amount as if he is pricein chiken dat should be a warnin he shouldnt near dan wit such amount again infact we d fans dont want dan 2 leave.
Dat offer is belittling Dan. He is a future player for chelsea and England.
OGA TONY MUST BE KIDDING BY PRICING DANNY WITH MERE 6 MILLION. HE IS WORTH 22 MILLION! IN SHORT, DANNY SHOULD NOT BE SOLD!
