Arsenal v Bolton extended highlights – Cahill sending-off changes game

Arsenal continued their usual excellent start to the season, but although they were 2-1 up at the time, the sending off of Cahill for a foul on Chamakh seemed very harsh, and tipped the game in Arsenal’s favour.

Arsenal new boy Laurent Koscielny scored his first goal for the Gunners to give them the lead after 25 minutes, but a typical header by Davies levelled the scores just before the break.

Chamakh restored Arsenal’s lead on the hour, and then cam the sending-off.

They made the extra man count and Song scored a brilliant goal after dinking around the goalkeeper, and a sublime pass from Fabregas gave Carlos Vela a simple finish to give a probably flattering scoreline to the Gunners.

Davies did not head the ball, it was Elmander.
