The Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has been linked with many big money moves either in January or at the end of the season, and his agent even admitted that he would go “to whoever pays the most money” but it may be that his time at Stamford Bridge is set to be extended yet again.
AVB said: “Drogba’s two-year extension? He looks to be on the right track at the moment.
“Hopefully we can reach a solution that is good for everybody. He can be an inspiration. With 4-3-3 we have three strikers vying for the same position.
Villas-Boas is preparing to face Manchester City tomorrow night and it looks like Drogba is set to be named as a starter ahead of Fernando Torres yet again.
He said: “Now it is Didier’s run with goals but Fernando Torres has had his run.”
Tomorrows game can either open the title race back up, or virtually end Chelsea’s chances of catching Man City if they lose. Let’s hope Drogba is still in goalscoring form…..
