AVB – The title is still in reach

Chelsea’s manager Andres Villas-Boas seems certain that The Blues still have a chance at winning the title despite the bad late form and that Roberto Mancini’s side Manchester City can still be stopped. City will be meeting Liverpool today in what is rumoured to be a very tough encounter

“I think we can (win the title). We have most of the same players (who have won the title before),” Villas-Boas said.

“We have the talent and belief will be the last thing to die with us.”

“Man City play tomorrow in a difficult game (at Liverpool).”

“It’s difficult for us to look at a distant leader.”

“In the past we have seen examples of us shortening distances but for that example to serve as inspiration we need to get the winning streak back like we did last year.”

With the win against Wolverhampton Chelsea is now within 9 points of the leader until City will play the game against Liverpool. The Reds defeated Arsenal and Chelsea, so they should have a fair chance against City even though it will be a fierce match.
