CD Chivas v Man Utd highlights – Hernandez and Smalling both score but Utd lose 3-2

The new Man Utd defender Chris Smalling scored his first goal for the team yesterday, and another new signing, Javier Hernadez scored too, but for Chivas! This was the Mexican striker’s farewell game for Chivas and he gave them a night to remember as he helped his old team beat the Premiership giants 3-2 in Guadalajara.

United boss Alex Ferguson was more than pleased with his new striker: “Chicharito was first class,” he said. “His goal was a marvellous strike. Chivas played well and they were quick. They pressed the ball well and made things difficult for us. They deserved to win. As for us, we’ve done lots of travelling and I think the players need to go home and rest now.”

“Chicharito has done really well. I think there are similarities between him and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. There are big possibilities of a partnership with Wayne Rooney.”

Well he surely must be better than Berbatov!
