According to reports this morning Chelsea have met with the South Korean star Chu-Young Park’s agents this weekend, and are now lining up an £8m bid for one of the best players at the World Cup.
TribalFootball reported: Monaco striker Chu-young Park is being linked with English champions Chelsea.
The 25-year old South Korean international has attracted interest from the Blues who are reportedly deciding whether they pay the $AUD13.92million (£8million) that Monaco have asked for.
Park was one of the heroes for his nation at the World Cup and is second in status only to Manchester United star Ji-sung Park in his homeland meaning Chelsea could cash in if they can break into the Asian market.
Park’s representatives met with Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti and other Blues officials prior to the opening day win over West Bromwich Albion.
There is no doubt that it would help with shirt sales in Asia, but is he good enough to play for the Blues?
