Chelsea find Chilean international as Modric replacement
Chelsea have been quiet in the transfer market this summer, but they have been linked with numerous players like Luka Modric and Scott Parker, but as yet no deals have been completed. One deal that could be on the cards is that of Arturo Vidal, the Chilean midfielder who is currently playing in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen.
Vidal has been linked with Juventus and Arsenal, but Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has now expressed his interest in the Chilean International who is valued at around £12million.
Rudi Voeller, who is the Sporting Director at Leverkusen, flatly refuses to sell Vidal to rivals Bayern Munich, but he did have the following to say about his highly rated midfielder. “ Arturo is a highly-coveted player, there are many clubs that want to buy him.”
Voeller went on to add, “We will only sell him in the summer when an offer that we deem appropriate comes.”
So the door is wide open for Chelsea to make a move for Vidal, and do not be surprised if he lands at Stamford Bridge in the next few weeks.

I think we need a player like vidal, someone who has passion and ignite the rest of the team. He has very good football sense and for a midfielder to score 12 goals at that kind of level cant go un-noticed. He’s great as a defensive mid-fielder as well as an attacking one. He’s one of the most complete football players out there. Sign him now before the price goes higher or one of our rivals sign him (arsenal).
i still init that we go for modric, if possible pastore cos they have been tested, trusted and guranteed. bundesliga is not as tough as EPL and seria A. so lets go for the two instead for vidal
