In terms of injury, Chelsea have almost the best record compared to their rivals but this international break almost cost Chelsea the availability of some key players.
Thankfully, Chelsea will have almost all their players in good health and injury-free and they will be looking to start a winning streak from the game against Norwich this Saturday.
We take a look at the players that have returned from injury and possibly doubtful for the weekend game.
Ivanovic
The 31-year-old Serbian picked up a hamstring injury back in September while on international duty for Serbia. He is yet to feature since then.
However, Mourinho revealed in Chelsea’s pre-match press conference ahead of Stoke City game that he was fit. He might be fielded in the position despite being staunchly criticised.
Hazard
He was confined to his room during the international break due to illness as confirmed by his coach Marc wilmots, per Evening Standard.
Despite being tongue-lashed, the Belgian is still the best player of Chelsea and his presence will be needed this Saturday.
Zouma
Arguably the best central defender for Chelsea this term, Zouma picked up a knock during Chelsa’s clash against Stoke and was unable to feature for France u21 side.
However, no words on him yet but he could return this weekend.
Falcao
The Colombian suffered a muscular injury according to Jose Mourinho earlier this month.
He has been unconvincing for the Blues since joining in the summer but he is in contention for the weekend game, per physioroom.
