Chelsea May Choose Nasri Over Modric
Chelsea are interested in hijacking the Manchester United and City bids for Arsenal’s Samir Nasri. City have reportedly offered the Gunners £19 million for the French midfielder while a similar offer from United has already been rejected.
According to the Metro Chelsea are also serious contenders for the 24-year-old. Arsene Wenger is reluctant to let the French midfielder leave especially since Cesc Fabregas may head to Barcelona. But since Nasri only has a year left on his contract Arsenal may have to sell him or risk losing him on a free transfer.
Nasri has rejected a five-year extension to his contract worth £90,000 and neither City nor Chelsea would mind paying higher wages in order to secure his services. It would still be cheaper for Chelsea to sign Nasri than Luk Modric and so looks like the better option.
If Tottenham do decide to sell the Croatian it would cost the Blues around £35 million as chairman Daniel Levy and manager Harry Redknapp are very reluctant to let the midfielder go.

Nasri is full of injuries and not a very consistent player.3 to 4 games he’s a star,all of a sudden he goz missing on de pitch like he’s not part of de Team.Chelsea nid just 1 or two especially midfield genuises who’s presence will be felt on de pitch.Pipo with influence like Schneider,Iniesta,Xavi,Nani,Fabrigas,Modric,Sanchez,Moutinho etc.De Chelsea team is ok BUT IT JUST LACKS CONSISTENT CREATIVITY ESPECIALLY UP FRONT.
Let sign pastore at 30m and marko marin, 2 wingers 2 strikers.

both Nasir and Modric is a good player but we need someone that can make things happen in the pitch, so i choose Nasir ahead of modric…..there is no need spending big on modric. Bring Nasir to standford bridge..

Modric is d one we need.can nasril operate very wel in d midfield?no,he is better as a winger than midfield.luka wil definitely help tores in deliverin.sneider is a better option bt i dnt see him leavin inter.he scores almost everytime and assists.
modric is the best suited for chelsea style not nasri he gat the potentials for ceativity and i bet u chelsea attack will keep scoring if modric in midfied. If both are possible beautiful.
chelsea’s interested in a lot of players like sanchez,neymar,modric,pastore,lukaku,van der weil,nasri,cahill…the list goes on.with a transfer budget of(i dont know),speculated 100 million euros,..i hope we spend sensibly.i dont mind them playing the present team plus from the academy rather than having many more high costing,not in form torres’s.
