Chelsea mean business! Hazard, Marin and now The Hulk!

Chelsea mean business. Winning the Champion’s league for the first time was brilliant but we did need a few strokes of luck along the way {thanks Messi and Robben}. The big challenge next season is to compete for the Premier league. They finished this season 25 points behind Manchester City and United, and Roman Abramovich is not about to let that become the norm.

We don’t know exactly what happened, but Chelsea beat Arsenal, United and City to the signature of Eden Hazard. We have also got Marko Marin who lots of other clubs were interested in, and it looks like we are about to seal the deal on Hulk.

The Brazilian international has been a sensation at Porto. Although he is often used as a winger instead of his role as a striker, he has smashed in 39 goals in 52 league games in the last two seasons. It seems that Porto have been unwilling to sell and were insisting on his buy out clause of around £50 million being met, but that has scared everybody else off. Now Chelsea are about to do a deal with Porto estimated at £38 million to get their man.

Plus, Abramovich seems to have reassured Fernando Torres that he is the main striker and this seems to have given the Spaniard back his confidence. If he can also persuade Guardiola to cut short his lay-off from the game, he will have worked wonders and Chelsea will be ready to take on the world.
