Chelsea rumours 12th Aug – Bosingwa, Pazzini and Huseklepp!

Chelsea continue their never-ending search for a “marquee” signing this summer, and, having lost out on Aguero, Ribery, Pirlo and De Rossi, they have decided to go for the next best thing. You guessed it, Erik Huseklepp!

It seems that the promising 24 year-old Norwegian international is going to be watched by Chelsea scouts in tonights game against Scotland, according to the Daily Mail.

The Brann midfielder has apparently scored five goals from midfield in his last six games, and has also attracted attention from Newcastle!

Where on earth do the Daily Mail get these stories from? The next one we can discount comes from the Daily Mail again, and has Chelsea linked with Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini. The 25 year-old striker is valued at £17m and scored the first ever hat-trick at the new Wembley when playing for the Italy U21’s. The Mail copied the story from TuttoSport so thats another one that’s a load of rubbish.

The last one sounds a little worrying, and it concerns Bayern Munich and Jose Bosingwa. Bayern have made no secret of the fact they want Bosingwa, but they now say that Chelsea promised to give them an answer this week. The Bayern General manager Uli Hoeness told the Daily Mail: “We are still interested in Jose.

“We need a strong, experienced defender on the right side, especially if we use Ribery in a more offensive role, as is being considered.

“We want only Bosingwa and have no interest in any other player for this position.

“Chelsea agreed to give us a signal after the Community Shield that they were ready to talk and we are waiting for contact from them.”

I doubt very much that Chelsea will sell, but it is possible that they were trying to buy Bruno Alves as a replacement, but the deal fell through, so it’s time to tell Bayern to bugger off and leave Bosingwa alone. He’s only been at the Bridge one year and , as far as i’m concerned, has been magnificent. I am finding it hard to believe that we even considered selling him.
