Chelsea v Portsmouth extended highlights – The Blues secure their first Double

Chelsea topped their fntastic season by winning the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth at Wembley, but the 1-0 scoreline doesn’t give justice to the gulf between the two sides.

Drogba’s brilliant free-kick was the difference between the two teams in the end, but Chelsea hit the woodwork a total of five times in the first half, not to mention that Salomon Kalou actually got the ball over the line once but it wasn’t seen by the referee or linesman.

Kalou also made the worst miss of the day when he hit the bar from two yards out with an empty goal in front of him.

Both sides missed penalties to make it even more nail-biting, and Portsmouth did have a couple of good chances themselves, and the longer the game went on it looked like they may be able to cause a shock, but then along came Drogba………
