Di Matteo still undecided about Cup Final strikers – Who would you choose?
With only one game to go this season, and potentially in his life at Chelsea, Roberto Di Matteo has no idea who to use up front in the game against Bayern Munich.
The Champions League final will be the game which can turn Chelsea’s season from a very poor one to an amazing one, bringing the most important trophy in European football and the qualification for next season’s Premier competition. However, Di Matteo is still unsure who he should use in the attacking roles in the game.
“I tried a few things to just have a look and see how it could work out,” Di Matteo told Chelsea TV.
“It’s always difficult because obviously it’s going to be a different opposition.
“But I’ve been trying to figure out a few things.”
With a wide range of strikers to choose from, this would be a tough decision for any manager in the world faced with such a hard game. Torres, Drogba, Sturridge, Kalou, Malouda, Lukaku and a few others are those who must fill in the gaps of a 4-2-3-1 system which Di Matteo is most likely to use.
Who do you think should be the ones to represent Chelsea up-front in the Final??
RDM should pair Drogba with Torres. Drog should play 9 El nino should play 10 with Mata taking 11 as (SL)
i think bayern will make tactics to break chelsea’s attack ,defence ,midfield in chelsea’s 4-2-3-1 . so rdm should use a diff formation and tactics.
Matteo stop thinking of what is unthinkable you have cruiseir march his better you start both of your striker Drogba and Torress…. Best of lucky….

I tink he shud start wit drogba…dis is not a match to gamble wit..its d most important match in chelsea’s history,so his decisions are also d most important in chelsea’s history…..as much as I’ll love to dem(torres&drogba) play 2geda @ d same tym…- I tink its a very high risk……. I expect him to play drogba alone uPfront&bring in torres. Around d 70th minute takin out som1 lyk Kalou…..who shud b tired by den….. dont think he has a choice. I feel he is forced to use em both because he doent have anybody to play on the right hand side.. So for that reason torres mite play behind drogbam with mata operating on the right side. Cant realy put sturrigde there, he wont pass and this aint a game for those kind of silly mistakes. Experiance will also be crusial
without stressing ourselves RDm… the best option nw is to start drogba and torress.since ramires is nt going to features .honestly i believe torress will surprise the whole world on coming saturday.he is a cool headed with a lot of talent…
I think RDM should use the available best striker in the team which are Drogba & Torres, if there is need to use any left foot striker he shoul make use of Lukaku & not Sturridge bcos the boy is very selfish & stupid. The 4-2-3-1 formation will be easy for Bayern to break so make use of 4-4-2, God is with Chelsea he will see tru. Up Chelsea
