Drogba – Bring on Man Utd!
The Chelsea striker Didier Drogba marked his return from suspension in the Champions League with a majestic performance against Atletico Madrid last night.
He topped it off with two more goals to earn Chelsea the point that ensures they have reached the knockout rounds of Europes Premier Competition as usual.
But he also said that the team as a whole had to improve on last nights performance and make sure that they take all three points from Man Utd on Sunday against Man Utd.
“I think we were also thinking about Manchester United tonight but we did everything we had to do today,” Drogba said. “Now we can focus on Sunday because it’s very important to beat United at home.
“We have to show different qualities and be better than today. Today was far from a good performance, we played well but were not good enough to win.”
Now everyone’s attention will be focused on the United game. If Chelsea manage to maintain their 100% home record, they can open up a gap over their biggest rivals.
