Chelsea are preparing for tomorrows crucial match against Aston Villa with a growing injury list, especially in defence.
Our defence is looking even weaker with the news that Ricardo Carvalho’s ankle injury will keep him out for about a month. It couldn’t have come at a worse time considering that Banislav Ivanovic was also ruled out for the same amount of time last week.
With Ashley Cole and Jose Bosingwa on the long-term list, we are left with just John Terry and Alex holding the fort in the middle. I am not complaining about that as i think they are our best pairing anyway, but we only have Zhirkov as a real left-back, and Beletti as my choice on the right.
I know I shouldn’t discount Ferreira but he was so dire against Blackburn last week that I would worry like hell if he had to start another game.
Add to that our star replacement defender, Michael Essien, also out for the season, and it becomes obvious that Chelsea just have to make sure they score more than they concede!
There’s no problem with that is there?
i pray we dont encounter any other injury. dis is a very crucial tym of d season and al dis is happenin. every team hav deir tough moment but ours hav com @ d wrong tym.
