Kaka’s mum is telling the world that her son will be in London next season, fuelling rumours that the Brazilian has already signed a deal with Chelsea. The Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has had an unhappy time at the La Liga giants, since his high profile switch from AC Milan, due to a combination of injuries and bad form. He may be open to giving his career a fresh start somewhere else and Chelsea could be the place to do it.
Kaka’s mother, Simone Leite hinted at a move on her Twitter profile according to the Metro. She wrote: “We are going to be in London next season where we will be preaching the word of God. We will be there from August – I can tell you”.
Kaka is strongly religious and very close to his family who joined him in Italy when he moved to AC Milan in 2003. The 29-year-old was sold to Real Madrid for £50million in 2009 but he has only made 51 appearances in total over the past two season, scoring 16 goals and providing 12 assists. It is thought that Real Madrid want to cut their loses and let him leave the club.
Kaka will relish the chance to restart his career after a disappointing few seasons but whether his old manager Carlo Ancelotti will still be at Stamford Bridge is not yet clear. The two had a successful period together at AC Milan and the Italian manager may have helped broker a deal between Real Madrid and Chelsea. However Ancelotti is expected to lose his job this month and head back to the Serie A to manage Roma.
