Leverkusen – We will do everything to sign Ballack!

The Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen areextremely keen on taking Michael Ballack back to Germany, and will do whatever they can to persuade him, except match his wage demands!

“We know that he has two definite offers and we are now ready to start negotiations,” Leverkusen general manager Wolfgang Holzhauser said. “We will do all we can to bring Ballack back. We are in close contact with him and his agent.”

“If he does come to us, then he is going to have to make sacrifices,” he continued. “We cannot compete with what the others are offering.”

Well surely he is wasting his time! This will probably be Ballacks last contract before he retires, so surely he will want to earn as much as possible…………
