The Anderlecht general manager Herman van Holsbeeck has been talking about Romelu Lukaku today and he has finally admitted that Chelsea are getting close to finding a solution between the two sides.
He said: “There are still a long way to go in the negotiations,”
“But we are indeed negotiating with Chelsea, but there are other clubs we are talking to.”
“It could happen in the next half hour, it could take until August 31, that is football,”
The good news is that Chelsea are closing in on Kevin De Bruyne, who will be loaned to Anderlecht by Chelsea as part of the deal to sign Lukaku, so that is one obstacle out of the way.
