Malouda – It still won't be easy to win the title

The French winger Florent Malouda was instrumental in Chelsea’s first goal against Man Utd yesterday, but he doesn’t think that they are now going to have an easy road to the Premiership title.

He acknowledges that it is a great help in the road to the trophy, but it is far from done and dusted. “It is going to be very difficult,” Malouda said.

“If we play the way we played today, we have a big possibility but it’s going to be very, very hard.

“We wanted to be on top of the league after this game. It was hard but I think we played really well and for us it means a lot after the bad week [when Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League] we had.

“We had to react and we reacted in the best way.”

You certainly did Florent. He has definitely matured into one of Chelsea’s best players under Ancelotti. May it long continue!
