Pato won't come to the Premier League

The young AC Milan striker Alexander Pato has been linked with Chelsea ever since his old boss Carlo Ancelotti arrived at Stamford Bridge, and more recently he has been chased by moneybags Man City. But he has announced that he would never leave Milan unless Barcelona came calling for him.

Pato said: “What do I think of City’s interest? As far as I’m concerned, it’s an honour.

“But I do not intend to leave Milan. I am very happy with the Rossoneri and have great affection for the team.

“If I was going to leave Milan, I’d only go to Barca.”

I’m not sure now that Abramovich would be willing to pay for anymore big money strikers. God knows who will replace Anelka or Drogba when they retire. Surely not Daniel Sturridge?
