Pato's agent says Chelsea talk is "just rumours"

The young AC Milan striker Alexander Pato has been strongly linked with Chelsea ever since his mentor Carlo Ancelotti moved to Fulham Broadway. Last summer Pato consistently said that he would not be leaving Milan unless the club decided to sell him, which they have always vociferously denied having any intentions of letting their most promising youngster leave.

Obviously with the season approaching an end, the rumours have started again, but Pato’s agent, Gilmar Veloz, has spoken out to put the speculation to bed.

“Chelsea and Real? These are only market rumours,” Veloz told calciomercato.it.

“There is nothing true. He has a deal with Milan and he feels good in Milan.”

Pato still has three years left on his contract with the Italian giants, and there is no doubt that he will remain in Italy for at least two of those years. But it won’t stop the rumours………
