Spanish laughing at Chelsea transfer talk
The first day of the transfer window and already we are being entertained by the various tabloid newspapers and their sensational headlines.
But it is not just the fans that are being entertained or bored as may be the case, but other media outlets as well.
Today the Spanish press have called today April Fools Day based on the David Villa going to Chelsea for 40 Million Euros or whatever crazy figure that is being touted headlines.
AS, one of Spains biggest newspapers has firmly derided the rumours not least because the Chelsea manager Carlos Ancelotti has stated quite clearly he will not be buying a new striker.
They also cite various other reasons why Villa will not be going to Chelsea this January but the bottom line was quite simple, the articles linking Villa with Chelsea are a load of rubbish.
The chances of Villa becoming a Chelsea player this January are very remote to say the least but we doubt that this is the last we have heard of the David Villa to Chelsea articles.
