Todays Chelsea rumours 20th July 2009

“Manchester City will up their bid to £40m to try to prise centre-back John Terry out of Chelsea’s grasp.” – Daily Mail

Yeah right, can’t they just use something else to fill their acres of newsprint! Terry isn’t going anywhere.

‘Bayern Munich have ended he chase of Chelsea’s Portuguese right back Jose Bosingwa’ – Independent

They never had a lot of chance of signing him anyway! That was always a No-No sort of story.

‘Manchester United are trying to negotiate down the price of Gremio midfielder Douglas Costa, while Chelsea, Real Madrid and Villarreal have entered the fray for the Brazilian.’ – Guardian

Absolute rubbish! Chelsea would never pay £20m for a youngster that had only played 19 games for his team, not in a million years!

Not a lot of other rumours, except that Dynamo Kiev are still threatening to sign Shevchenko. A Russian paper said that have “proposed” a 3.5m deal for two years for Sheva.

I don’t care what they pay him, just take him off our hands!
