What Should Abramovich Do With Di Matteo?

Now that the Premier League timetable is over and Chelsea have only one game to play until the end of the season, the question on everybody’s lips is who is going to lead Chelsea after the summer.

The Blues have already struck their first deal having brought German attacking midfielder Marko Marin, but Di Matteo claimed that this was not his choice, so who is pulling the shots at Chelsea now, and what’s going to happen to the Italian manager?

Di Matteo has managed to pick the team up from the dumps where Andres Villas-Boas left it and stroll right through the Champions League clashes against Napoli and Barcelona to reach the final where he’s due to lead his side into a very tough game against Bayern Munich.

Despite all of this, and despite also winning a cup after defeating Liverpool in the final, Di Matteo’s position in the club is just as unsecure as it was when he first took over, and nobody seems to understand why.

Abramovich will have to decide soon, and the only chance Di Matteo has to prove him he’s the right man and keep his job is to win the Champions League final, which seems like a mission impossible without Meireles, Ramires, Terry, Ivanovic and possibly without Cahill and Luiz as well.
