Ferreira – We must win title before we think of Wembley

The veteran Chelsea defender Paolo Ferreira is desperate for Chelsea to make sure that they win the Premiership title before any thought of the FA Cup Final.

He thinks that the League must be the number one priority so they can go to Wembley as champions, and he won’t be happy otherwise.

“I think it would be an anti-climax in a way, because we are three years now without winning the league and of course we are not happy,” Ferreira said.

“A club like Chelsea should always try to win the league first and we want to do it this year. The last three years, Manchester United were better than us, but this season we have three games to win and it is in our hands.

“We don’t want to think about going into the final game of the season at Wembley not being champions again. It happened before and we don’t want that again because it’s important to win titles – even if cups are also important.

You are right Paolo, sort out the title, then we can look at dong our first ever Double!
