The 17 year-old Chelsea reserve Frank Nouble looks like he has chosen to join West Ham, despite being linked with a move to Arsenal, where his mate Jack Wilshere has recently earned a money-spinning contract.
Nouble refused to sign a first professional deal with Chelsea, saying that he was worried about getting any first-team chances at Stamford Bridge, and as he is being tipped as an England star of the future, he has decided to pursue his career elsewhere.
Arsenal were considered favourites to sign him because of Arsene Wengers youth policy, but Gianfranco Zola has obviously persuaded him that he will also get his chances at Upton Park.
It hasn’t yet been confirmed by the clubs, but an announcement on Sky Sports normally means it will happen.
