Argentina v Brazil highlights – Messi magic wins it in added time

Argentina v Brazil is the fiercest grudge match in South America, with some of the best players in the world on show. It was Lionel Messi’s fourth game against their rivals, and he recorded his first win against Brazil with a perfect individual goal deep into stoppage time.

“I really wanted to beat them and I was able to it. I’d never done it with the senior team,” Messi said afte the match. It’s an important win to keep improving and that’s always easier when the results go your way,”

Robinho was the Brazil captain for the night, and he was pleased with the game, but not the result! “The two teams went forward. But at the end of the game we suffered the goal sadly. Messi is an excellent player, who settled the match in a moment we lost concentration,” he said.
