Argentina v Nigeria extended World Cup highlights

Diego Maradona’s Argentina team were very unconvincing in the qualifying matches, but with the talent at their disposal, can never be written off at a World Cup Tournament.

Nigeria are always considered to be one of the stronger African teams, and on their home continent were hoping to give a good account of themselves, but Argentina just proved to be that little bit stronger.

You would think that with a forward line of Messi, Tevez and Higuain the South Americans were bound to score at some point, but their only goal surprisingly came from the ex-Man Utd defender Gabriel Heinze!

Messi certainly had his fair share of chances, and it was only the brilliance of Vincent Enyema in the Nigeria goal that kept him off the scoresheet. It may have only been 1-0, but you wil see from the highlights it was a very exciting game.
