Germany v Argentina extended World Cup highlights – Class from Klose!

This was billed as the most even match so far in the World Cup, but Argentina, with Messi, Tevez and Higuain leading the attack, were made favourites to overcome the “inexperienced” Germans.

But they were completely blown away by the youngsters of Germany, although Miroslav Klose could hardly be called young! Argentina were shocked when Muller put the ball in the net after just three minutes, but they fought hard for an equaliser for the rest of the 45 minutes, but couldn’t find a way past Neuer.

Germany refound their quick passing skills in the second half, and Diego Maradona looked increasingly worried as the game went on. Once Germany scored the second through Klose with 20 minutes to go Argentina’s heads dropped as they knew they were out. Germany then rubbed their noses in it by scoring twice more before the end.

After that performance I now make Germany hot favourites to win the competition!
